VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE AT WHO DARES CARES

Covering Scotland and the UK, our Armed Forces and Blue Light charity welcomes volunteers from a range of backgrounds to help us achieve our charity’s mission.

Who Dares Cares has a number of volunteers that work with us, all with varying skills. Our volunteers come from various backgrounds, including the military and nursing, and offer help and support to our followers in many different ways.

 

Our volunteers are just that, volunteers. They are dedicated to the charity and give up their own time and effort to support our people in so many different ways. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide the dedicated support that we can. Take a look at our current volunteering opportunities below.

PERMANENT ROLES AVAILABLE

Walk, Talk and Brew Coordinator

We are currently looking for Walk, Talk and Brew Coordinators within the United Kingdom to represent Who Dares Cares in a professional and compassionate manner whilst leading safe and enjoyable walks that can be enjoyed by individuals and their families. Please see our role description for Walk, Talk and Brew Coordinator for further information.

OUR VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS

If you would like to volunteer to support Who Dares Cares and help support our Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Veterans, including their families and dependants, who are suffering from PTSD. Please complete our application form below and we'll be in touch.

WHO DARES CARES APPLICATION FORM - Regulated Work

All applicants applying to work or volunteer in a regulated work position are required to complete an application form.

SECTION A: Your Personal Details
SECTION B: Your present or most recent employment/voluntary work
SECTION C: Please give details of any previous experience you may have of looking after and/or working with protected adults
SECTION D: Please give details of any relevant qualifications, training and/or personal qualities which you feel equip you to work with protected adults
SECTION E: Please give details of a referee, able to attest your suitability to work within this protected field
SECTION F: Please give details as to your identity

It is recommended that at least 3 forms of identification are checked; if possible, at least 1 should be photographic. These should confirm your name, date of birth and current home address.
