Kiltwalk challengers

KILTWALK 2023

Join Who Dares Cares on a Kiltwalk in 2023.  Now, instead of a Hunter Foundation top up, The Hunter Foundation will underwrite Kiltwalk’s costs, allowing Gift Aid to be released to Who Dares Cares ensuring up to 125% of what you raise will come directly to the charity.

DOING THE FAN IN MEMORY OF DAN

On the 30 April 2023 Abbie Laidlaw and her family will be walking up Pen Y Fan in memory of their father Dan Laidlaw.  Unknown to a lot of people, Dan suffered from PTSD which is why Abbie and her family want to raise money for Who Dares Cares.

Woodland camp
PRIMAL BUSHCRAFT EVENTS

Reconnect with nature, learn life skills and embrace your primal instinct. Come and learn how to thrive outdoors in a safe and enjoyable environment lead by highly experienced instructors at Primal Bushcraft. Get to spend a night camping, be that under a tarp or a shelter you have built together. Pull up a sandbag, sit round the fire and let the banter begin.

WEST HIGHLAND WAY

The West Highland Way is a linear long-distance route in Scotland. It is 154km long, running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William. The event represents a unique training opportunity for Who Dares Cares to support our Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Veterans including their Families who are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to undertake a demanding but enjoyable week in the Scottish Highlands. The demanding terrain on the West Highland Way combined with the weather will make the event a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved.

WHO DARES CARES CHARITY GOLF DAY

Falkirk Golf Club will host a fundraising golf event in aid of Who Dares Cares Sunday 11 June 2023 at Carmuirs House.

 

Join in as a single player or doubles or a team. Throughout the day there will be a raffle and a Longest drive competition.

The boat challenge
THE GREAT GLEN CHALLENGE 2023

A team of 8 males and 8 females will take on the Great Glen Challenge during July 2023.  A challenging multi-day route which comprises 22 miles of man-made canal and 38 miles of open water on the lochs. 

 

Join the Great Glen Team today to take on the canoe trip of a lifetime and raise vital funds for our Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Veterans including their Families who are suffering from PTSD. Minimum fundraising amount is £400.00, you can set up your Great Glen Just Giving Page under the males team or females team.
